In the upcoming semester of “Beach University,” the “Sociology of Everyday Life” module is becoming a Winter School: alongside Viktor Vakhstein, classes will be taught by renowned experts from universities in Europe and the United States.

Ее участники получат возможность погрузиться в современные подходы к микросоциологии, обсудить ключевые кейсы и вести беседы вне аудитории с ведущими представителями российской социологии.

The Winter School “Sociology of Everyday Life” will take place in Budva from 3 to 9 February 2025 as part of the “Beach University” program. Participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in contemporary approaches to microsociology, discuss key cases, and continue conversations outside the classroom with leading representatives of Russian sociology.

The school program includes:

  • Lectures and workshops led by the instructors;
  • Reading and close discussion of classic texts;
  • Analysis of research cases and approaches;
  • Informal conversations, walks, and shared activities.
