This season the programme includes three weeks:
19–25 January – two parallel schools:
1) City as Sign: Artefact, Visual Culture and Place Identity (Prof. Alexey Shklyanko)
2) Hypothesis of Linguistic Relativity: Does Language Determine Thought? (Prof. Alexander Piperski)
26 January – 1 February – Psychiatry and Literature: Texts, Emotions, Diagnoses (Prof. Konstantin Bogdanov, Prof. Iosif Zislin)
2–8 February – Sociology of Time: Rhythms of Social Life (Prof. Viktor Vakhshtayn)




Several hours a day are devoted to intensive immersion in the topic you choose; the rest of the time is for the sea, walks, conversations and shared trips.
In the winter 2026 season our lecturers are designer Alexey Shklyanko, linguist Alexander Piperski, philologist Konstantin Bogdanov, psychiatrist Iosif Zislin and sociologist Viktor Vakhshtayn.
